Latvijas Nedzirdīgo sporta federācija informē, ka šā gada 14.-18. jūnijā Rīgā, boulinga centrā “Bowlero” risināsies Ziemeļu un Baltijas valstu Nedzirdīgo boulinga čempionāts. Šajā pasākumā dalību ņems visas Ziemeļu un Baltijas valstu – Dānijas, Somijas, Igaunijas, Norvēģijas, Islandes, Lietuvas, Zviedrijas un mūsu valsts nedzirdīgie sportisti.
Šajās sacensībās Latvijas boulinga izlases sastāvā spēlē pilna vīriešu un sieviešu komanda.

Vīriešu konkurencē Latviju pārstāv Vladimirs Lagunovs, Sergejs Vorobjovs, Aleksejs Smirnovs, Māris Dukurs, Dainis Mauriņš un Jānis Naļivaiko, bet dāmu konkurencē spēlē Līva Vaivade, Anita Valdmane, Ilze Jaunzeme, Ilona Ozola, Ilona Liniņa un Dace Bozdžane.

General description Since autumn 2002 we have started to receive visitors and we are happy that real, active recreation fans turn out to be more and more.Bowlero Center is recognizable not only for its varied recreational possibilities, but also for architectonic style.Architectonic model (project authors – Architectural Office “Sīlis, Zābers un Kļava”) of the Sports and Recreational Center BOWLERO has essentially raised aesthetic quality of environment in so significant place of town planning of Riga – on the way from the airport, Jūrmala to Riga Center.   1. The Rules for NBDSF Bowling Championships 2016

Competition Rules

The Bowling competitions will be conducted in accordance with the Rules and Regulations of the ETBF/WTBA TENPIN WTBA Statues and Playing Rules – Effective as of 1 January 2016.

In case of disagreement in the interpretation of the Rules and Regulations, the English text shall prevail and Bulletin No.4 (07.06.2016) prevail.

1. Delimitations

1.1    There is no age limitation for the NBDSF Bowling Championships.

1.2    In each NBDSF Bowling Championships there is a women´s and a men´s division.

  1. Participants

2.1    The national team from each NBDSF member federation.

3. Qualification

3.1    21 games per player, divided in team, trio, double and single squads.

3.2    The top 3 players after the 21 qualifying games are qualified for the Masters.

3.3    Tie breaking procedures , one ball roll-off (on a full set of pins) please see p.#5

3.4    Practice for events in each block

  1. a) Singles, 10 minutes practice time
  2. b) Doubles, 10 minutes practice time
  3. c) Trios, 10 minutes practice time
  4. d) Team, 15 minutes practice time
  5. e) Masters, 10 minutes practice time

4. Masters

4.1    There will be 2 stepladder matches.

4.2    The player positioned 3 and the player positioned 2 will play a one game match.  The looser of the match will be ranked 3 in the final tournament standing.

4.3    The winner of the first match and first seeded player will play two games. The winner determined by highest sum of two games. The looser of the match will be ranked 2.

4.4    Each math will be played on one pair of lanes (crossline).

4.5.   In each match the highest seeded player will choose whether he wants to begin the first game on the left or on the right lane. In the second game the starting lane of the players will be opposite to the first game and in a possible third game the starting lane of the players will be the same as in the first game.

5. Tie breaking procedures.

In case of a tie in any game in the team, trios, double, single, after 21games, final, a one ball roll-off (on a full set of pins) will be played, repeated until the tie is broken.

The players will be positioned on the lanes, where they ended the game. The highest positioned player, by the conclusion of the qualification, will choose the order of play. For a second roll off delivery, the players will switch lanes and order of deliveries. A third roll off delivery will be played like the first roll off delivery etc.

6. Equipment (Bowling Balls)

Inspection and selection

Each player can bring an unlimited amount of bowling balls to the championship venue.

As soon as possible after arrival you must, for each player, deliver a filled in issue of form I to the tournament Technical Delegate.

The inspection is limited to eligibility of the ball as specified in the list of approved bowling balls, the serial number of each ball and a visual inspection with regard to damages etc.

Only bowling balls, that are included in the USBC Approved Bowling Ball list, can be used in competition. The official list of approved bowling balls is published on www.bowl.com.

Bowling balls manufactured prior to 1991 cannot be found on the USBC Approved Bowling Ball list. However, the Championship Committee may accept such bowling balls to be used during the championship if it is proven that they were produced prior to 1991.

Immediately following the conclusion of the official practice session, the coach of the team must modify From (Ball Registration Form) for all his team members, so each form includes only a maximum of 6 bowling balls to be used during competition.

All bowling balls, not selected to be used during competition, must, with no hesitation, be removed from the bowling centre and brought back to the hotel. The ball store room will occasionally be examined for non-registered bowling balls, which will be declared in use, if found.

No replacements or additions of bowling balls will be allowed once the first event has started, and no modifications of a bowling ball shall be permitted, apart from the altering of the surface according to the rules specified in the ETBF Constitution. In very special circumstances, the Championship Committee may allow a replacement of a registered bowling ball.

Random checks of the identity of the bowling balls used in competition will be performed during the squads at the discretion of the Championship Committee. The penalty for violation of the rule is disqualification and all scores null and void.

How to pack your bowling balls

Please separate bowling bags and packages with balls and equipment from your private stuff.

Each bowling bag and each package with balls must be provided with a sticker or a label with the full name of the players and his/her federation. Please do not pack bowling balls from more than one player in the same bag / package.

  1. Information about oil

6.1. The length of the oil pattern will be published 2 weeks prior to the championships.

Planned oil length – Medium 39-41 feet.

  1. Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in the bowling centre. If a bowler is caught smoking during a game he/she will have zero pinfall for the game currently being played. If a bowler is caught smoking in between games, he/she will have zero pinfall for the succeeding game.

  1. Slow bowling / Lane Courtesy

9.1 Players shall be ready to bowl when it is their turn and shall not delay the start of their approach or delivery when the pairs immediately adjacent to them on both the right and left are clear (one (1) pair lane courtesy).

9.2 Competitors must observe one (1) pair lane courtesy at all times. Competitors on the same pair may not bowl consecutive deliveries without allowing one (1) competitor from the pair to the right and one (1) competitor from the pair to the left have made a delivery, unless those competitors are not ready to bowl or they give way.

9.3 If a player does not observe the procedures outlined in paragraphs 9.1 and 9.2, it shall be construed as slow bowling. A player failing to observe these procedures shall be warned by an authorized tournament official as follows

  1. a) A white card for the first offence (no penalty)
  2. b) A yellow card for the second offence (no penalty)
  3. c) A red card for the third and each succeeding offence in any block of games (six games for singles and doubles, three games for trios or five-person team and all games of match play in a day). the penalty shall be a zero pin fall for the frame.

All delegations for the championships will be met in Riga Airport and in conjunction with departures a similar delivery service will be provided.

Farewell Banquet

The Banquet will be held 18th June in the evening at Bowlero Center. The capacity of the establishment have room enough to max. 100 guests at the NBM 2016 Farewell Banquet.
