Santa Cup norit tikai otro reizi. Norises vieta – Igaunijas pilsēta Pērnava, boulinga centrs Perona Bowling.
2016 gadā Vladimirs Pribiļevs ieguva 7 vietu, Andis Dārziņš 10 vietu un Artemijs Hudjakovs 12. vietu. Par uzvarētāju tika kronēts vietējais dalībnieks Kert Truus.

Šogad izmēģināt savus spēkus devās Andis Dārziņš un Nikolajs Ovčiņņikovs. Abi pārvarēja kvalifikācijas kārtu, ieņemot attiecīgi 16 un 10 vietu.

COMPETITION SYSTEM
qualification:
6 games, two players on lane. European play style. 1 lane right after each game. practise time 10 minutes on starting lane. Top 20 will continue in finals.
10 hcp for women, maximum game for women is 300p.
Lane maintenance:
lane maintenance is before every qualification squad and before final steps 1,2 and 4.
Classes:
A – division, main-event.
B – division. Players with official average from 170 to 190 p (women from 160p to 180p.)
C – division. Players with official average under 170p (women under 160p.)
There are extra finals for TOP 4 players from both divisions – B- and C-division,
You can not participate in both divisions!
Juniors – U18 (born in 01.09.1999 and later) and U14(born in 01.09.2003 and later)
Turbo – Turbo game is 6th game, You can buy turbo game before you start the 6th game.
Finals:
Top 20 from qualification, top 2 results played 25.11.17 – 29.11.17, top 2 from turbo and top 2 from desperado. And also B- and C-division winners. Finals will be played in american play style. Starting from scratch.
Players are qualified from the categories in the order:
1. Main-event
2. Desperado
3. 2 best results played 25.11.17 – 29.11.17.
4. Turbo
5. B- ja C-division winners
Finals 1st round (20 players)
Qualification seeds 9-20, 2 best results played on 25.11.17 – 29.11.17, 2 best results from desperado and turbo and also B- ja C-division winners.
5 games starting from scratch. American play style, movement after each game, 2 lanes right. 8 best will advance to next round.
10 minutes pracitse on a starting lane.
Finals 2nd round (16 players)
Qualification seeds 1-8, Top 8 from 1st round.
4 games starting from scratch, 8 best will advance to next round. American play style, movement after each game, 2 lanes right.
10 minutes pracitse on a starting lane.
Finals 3rd round (8 players)
Top 8 from 2nd round.
4 games, points will be included from last round. American play style, movement after each game, 2 lanes right. 4 best will advance to next round.
5 minutes pracitse on a starting lane.
Finals 4th round STEPLADDER (4 players)
Top 4 from 3rd round.
Playing from scratch. stepladder system.
1st match is between seed nr. 3. and nr.4
2nd match is between seed nr.2 and 1st match winner
3rd match is between seed nr.1 and 2nd match winner
Practise is 4 shots on each lane.
Tie Break situations:
Qualification rounds: Higher last game will win (women hcp added), if the tie stille exists, the second last result will win etc.
Finals 1st and 2nd round: Higher last game will win (women hcp added), if the tie still exists, the second last result will win etc.
Finals 3rd round: Higher last game will win (women hcp added), if the tie still exists, the second last result will win etc. If needed, then results from 2nd round also.
Finals 4th round: Full set of pins will be replayed until tie is broken.
