Boulinga spēlētāja Zavjalova individuālajā pasaules čempionātā tiek starp 32 labākajām dalībniecēm.

Doha, 7.dec., LETA. Latviajs boulinga spēlētāja Diāna Zavjalova Dohā notiekošajā individuālajā pasaules čempionātā veiksmīgi pārvarēja kvalifikācijas sacensības, tiekot starp 32 labākajām dalībnicēm.

Zavjalova kvalifikācijā 12 spēlēs savāca 2380 punktus, kas viņai deva 23.vietu 53 dalībnieču konkurencē. Labākā viņai bija ceturtā spēle, kurā tika nopelnīti 252 punkti.

Priekšsacīkstēs labākā bija vāciete Birgita Poplere, kura tika pie 2711 punktiem.

Turpinājumā 32 labākās dalībnieces tiks sadalītas četrās grupās pa astoņām katrā, noskaidrojot astoņas spēlētājas, kuras iekļūs trešajā kārtā, kurā notiks cīņa par vietu pusfinālā.

Grupā katra sportiste aizvadīs pa astoņām spēlēm. Katras kārtas uzvarētāja tiks pie septiņiem punktiem, otra labākā rezultāta īpašniece saņems sešus un tā tālāk. Sacensības turpinās katras grupas divas labākās dalībnieces.

Pasaules individuālais čempionāts risinās otro reizi. Pirmais šāds turnīrs tikai aizvadīts 2012.gadā Kiprā, kurā Zavjalova izcīnīja sudraba medaļu, zaudējot tikai Kellijai Kulikai no ASV, kura šoreiz kvalifikācijā sasniedza 17.rezultātu.

LETA jau ziņoja, ka pērn gada nogalē Latvijas profesionālā boulinga spēlētāja Zavjalova nespēja kvalificēties prestižā “Masters” pasaules čempionāta pusfinālam.

“Masters” sacensībās piedalās pašas labākās sportistes, taču ik pēc trīs turnīriem vienu gadu ir pārtraukums, kurā tiek aizvadīts individuālais pasaules čempionāts, dodot iespēju to rīkot mazākām pilsētām.

After a 25-year absence, the QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup returns to China for the 52nd QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup. The event will take place from October 14 – 23 in the exciting city of Shanghai, where the Orient meets the West and where a dazzling mix of ultra-modern and traditional styles come together to create a breathtaking skyline.

The host center, Hao’s Bowling in Downtown Shanghai’s Luwan Sports Complex, features 24 lanes of the latest QubicaAMF equipment. The complex is the regional home for many sports and includes a multi-purpose sporting arena where the World Cup Finals will be held on October 22nd on a specially constructed pair of lanes.
